So, why choose us?
When you choose Trashawk as your maker, you're supporting a small fursuit maker business whose products are made with passion and uniqueness in mind!
We have a lot of things to learn still, but each new customer means more experience!
While bringing your character alive just as you've visioned is definitely the biggest goal of Trashawk suits, We also try our best at being good at communication and coming up with ideas along the way if you're not 100% sure on what you'd like on your suit!Commissioning a Trashawk suit means you're also helping a good cause! 5% of each commission will be donated to shelter cats in need! The donations are in the shape of food, medicine or supplies (Syringes, bottles, cleaning and sanitary stuff, etc!)
About me
I'm a 21 yr old dude from Finland. making art and fursuits are some of my biggest passions! Along with fursuit making, I volunteer at a local cat shelter.Animals, especially cats, are close to my heart, and throughout my life I've owned three cats and around six frogs. My family also had three dogs, horses and fish, so since I've always been surrounded by animals, it's really no surprise that I ended up mainly doing art of animals. Nowadays I've branched out to draw humans as well though.I'd like to own more pets, l've been dreaming of a ball python....A parrot of the conure kind would be very cool too...But maybe those will stay as dreams, who knows.Currently I own two cats, allow me to introduce them!
But since you came here to learn about me and not just my cats, I'd like to share some other things I also like!
I am a big fan of games such as Cyberpunk 2077, Horizon zero dawn, red dead redemption, Ratchet & clank, but my forever favorites will be the last of us part 1 and of course, Spyro dawn of the dragon.I am not too big on watching Movies or TV series type of stuff, but when I do, it's usually animated (who would've guessed...)
Some of my favorite animated movies are Bolt, Puss in boots The last wish, flow and of course, would I even be a furry if I did not mention Zootopia? My music taste in the other hand is anything from honky tonky country music to heavy metal, sprinkle in some movie/series OST, musicals, lesser known genres and...well, it really would be easier to say what kind of music I don't like.
My all time favorite bands are Muse and linkin park though.
Hawk on the last trip before retiring the suit!
So, how and when did I start making suits?
One fateful day when I was younger, I think like 12-14, I stumbled upon a couple of YouTube videos of people wearing fursuits to some charity event, I couldn't even speak English back then, so I understood nothing else but that there was some super cool mascot costumes and that they were making others happy, after that I did some googling and found what they were, indeed, after that I asked my mom if I could get one...Of course I couldn't get one, I was still growing and even she knew back then that it would be a very expensive thing to buy and grow out of, so...We agreed that I'd do one by myself.
With a budget of around 100€ (around $110 USD, give or take)
I went to buy some fur, foam and...
Well... All I can say is that no one is born talented.
Yeah. Obviously no one's born talented, but after the disaster that was my first suit, I took a little break and did not do another suit for a year or so, but then I got the spark again and now I'm at the point that I have my work outside of my home country which is something that younger me probably wouldn't even believe if you told me that back then!
This girl especially is the reason I have to state that I am from a cat household, she will NOT leave my fabrics alone.
When it comes down to my sona, Haukka ("Hawk") he's a lynx + housecat hybrid, again, going back to the fact that cats are my favorite animals!
Though, often enough people do mistake my main suit for a fox, someone even thought he was a bear, but then again, I cannot really blame 'em, my main suit is five years olf as of 2024.Due to that, even though I do love the iconic look, I've had to retire the suit and I am actively planning on making a 2.0 version!I as a fursuit maker love doing feline suits and just have a soft spot for feline fursonas, especially housecats.I have been making suits for five years now, though, the last three years have been more of the active years.
On the left is my first try at a fursuit,,,And on the right is a suit I finished during 2024

Price chart
°•. ☆ .•°
Down below are the base prices of my fursuit commissions.
What I mean with 'base prices' is the starting price. The price listed in the example picture only includes one fur colour as well as one secondary colour, such as the inner ears, tongue or nose. The more complex your character is, the more expensive it will be. Certain species will also cost more due to more materials needed to construct the foam base.additional features such as horns, complex hair, wings, extra sets of ears will affect the price as well.I take payment in EUR/€
I have linked a currency converter below. When requesting a quote, please state your preferred currency.°•. ☆ .•°
Pricing examples
These are examples of possible prices for designs. You can estimate here what your suit commission might cost before the official quote I’ll give if you decide to commission me!These estimates are assuming that the commission would be a partial. Shipping is not included in these estimates.
But why these prices?
°•. ☆ .•°
So, what actually affects the price of a fursuit?
With me, it mainly comes down to complexity and the amount of colours.
I am an European maker, and ordering high quality fur from USA can skyrocket the shipping costs of said materials drastically. A simple order of two furs and some minky will be around 200€. When adding a third colour, it jumps to 300.I would love to not have to charge as much for only material costs, but there are simply not any reliable alternative store to order high quality furs from with consistency.
Often smaller shops have long wait times for restocks or simply do not offer certain colours at all, or the quality is not good enough.

Fursuit care
If your Fursuit gets stained, I do not recommend in any case machine washing the head, as the head is made from foam.Instead, please handwash the head. Here is a very good tutorial on how to take care of the head in case you need to wash it for one reason or another. The handpaws and bodysuit are the only parts that should be washed in the machine, but it's also possible to clean them by hand. Be sure to not use hot water.Make sure to always brush the fur during and after the drying process, and never use a hair dryer to make the process faster. The heat could damage the fur fibers, and faux fur doesn't grow back sadly.
Avoid using fabric softeners or anything that could cause stains.
